for Student / delegates who are or will be upgrading from
ACT! 6 TO act! 7 or 8. A lot has changed since ACT! 6 starting
with the engine which was based on dBase. ACT! Professional
/ Workgroups runs on Microsoft SQL which is bundled with ACT!
7 / 8.

and have moved or moving to ACT! 7/ 8 professional or Workgroups
Course Objectives
Students will locate database supplemental files, use the
new views, tabs, and menus, attach files to contact records,
manage attached documents, and limit contact access to records.
Topic coverage also includes navigation of calendar views,
creation and removal of activity types and custom priorities,
resource management, and calendar access permissions. Students
will also learn how to manage groups and company records,
filter, manage, and export opportunities, attach a Web page
to a contact record, and generate maps and driving directions
